After the March Democratic Revolution of 1917, the capitalist provisional government in Russia did not want to stop the war or provide land to the peasants. It was unable to improve the food situation. This volume includes Lenin's theoretical struggle (the book State and Revolution) and the political struggles within the party to ensure that the Bolshevik Party, the revolutionary wing of the Communist Party, seized power on behalf of the Soviets. These serve as a practical example of how to ensure the interests of the working class in a turbulent and complex environment without being distracted.
